# Getting Started

**Degen Dogs** are NFTs on Polygon that stream DeFi tokens to holders in real-time. DegenDogs are minted and sold via auction, one at a time. A portion of auction proceeds are invested in DeFi and streamed to owners of previous Dogs. A portion of proceeds are kept in the treasury, controlled by a DAO of Dog Owners.
